Location and Accommodation
Moskovsky railway station
In the immediate vicinity of the apartments is the Moskovsky railway station. It was built by the architect K. A. Ton. The facade of the building is made in Renaissance style. In its appearance the architect used motives of town halls of Western European cities. The clock tower shows the direction of the main entrance.
Location
When the railroad to Moscow was laid in the 19th century, the formation of Znamenskaya Square, today's Vosstaniya Square, began (although the first building, Znamenskaya Church, appeared on the square as early as 1765). In 1945 Leningrad received the title of Hero City and an obelisk was erected there. The official opening of the monument was held in 1985, in honor of the 40th anniversary of Victory.
Entertainment and culture
Currently, near Vosstaniya Square and the station, there are many interesting places to visit, such as the Etazhy Loft Project, the Sergey Kuryokhin Center for Contemporary Art. For shopping, there is the Gallery shopping mall. We also advise to take a walk along Nevsky Prospect in the direction of the Neva to Alexander Nevsky Lavra.
